Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Make sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components. Assemble a completed electro-mechanical unit utilizing sub-assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts.
Responsibilities
Assemble printed circuit boards by inserting applicable components in a through-hole fashion using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
Install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.
Perform electrical function tests at the printed circuit board and final assembly levels using test fixtures provided by electrical engineering.
Complete other duties as required, such as packing.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift up to 26 lbs
Minimum 4 months of production work experience
Capability to stand at the work station for 8+ hours

Work Environment
This is a fast-paced work environment where deadlines are crucial. The basic production work area features tight quarters. Employees must wear eye protection and protective shoes. Loose clothing is not permitted. Shifts available are: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00AM-3:00PM, 2nd Shift Monday - Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. with potential overtime on Friday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and 3rd Shift Monday - Friday 10:00PM-6:00AM.
