Position overview:
This position will be responsible for teaching HVAC courses to all HomeServe Technicians and employees. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, an understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams and HVAC system design and Company systems.
Responsibilities
Responsible for providing training to new and current employees, inclusive of:
HVAC System Design, Operation and DiagnosisCompany Systems for which the employee engages during their workday – i.e. Click MobileAppropriate safety practicesResponsible for effectively using teaching techniques, instructional materials and appropriate media to conduct and support classroom training, course work and laboratory assignmentsWork with Training Manager to develop and implement Career Progression program for all levels of HVAC TechniciansWork with Training Manager to create new and updating training materialMaintain control of inventories of equipment, supplies & tools available in the training roomsSupport and follow HomeServe policies and procedures
Job Requirements :
Excellent communication skills - listening, speaking, and writtenProficient with use of smart phones, tablets, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PPT and ExcelMinimum of 5 years HVAC field service experienceIndustry certifications preferred: NATE, ARI/GAMA ICE, RSES CM, etc.Ability to travel overnight up to 10% if neededIn Return We Offer:
