Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.Key Responsibilities:Efficiently query multiple data types (medical and pharmacy claims, EMR, lab, chargemaster) using SQL to gain a deep understanding of patient / clinical activity from Forsyth data and investigate gaps and anomalies both within and longitudinally across patient records.Influence the data model to enable expedient and meaningful observational research.Work with Analytics team to develop algorithms for derived variables and metrics for inclusion in data product.Compile detailed requirements for data model development and work with Data team to implement and test the resulting data sets.Develop vocabularies and ontologies towards standardizing data - for granular structured data and for unstructured / free-text data with an eye on automation and scale.Collaborate with Data team to create detailed documentation for data product, including ERD's and best practices for onboarding and maintenance of licensed data.Assist in providing RWD training, analytic guidance, and use case development and support for clients.Continually assess new data sources and work with internal teams to map and incorporate new data into existing model or to expand the model accordingly.Project management and prioritization - Advisor role will support multiple projects per Product roadmap and will work with Client Solutions, Data and Analytics teams to manage multiple initiatives and negotiate timelines/priorities with stakeholders.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:Key Skills; SQL, Data Curation, Healthcare EMR, Claims dataAt least 5-7 years of experience in analytics, solving complex business problems using data tools, relational databases, and analytical processesAt least 3-5 years' experience using SQL, programming against large relational databases leveraging linked, patient-level data at scale.Healthcare data expert across various data types (e.g., open/closed claims, inpatient/ambulatory EMR, commercial labs, social determinants of health, etc.) and codified healthcare data standards (e.g., NDC, ICD, CPT, HCPCS, CVX, LOINC, NUCC, NPPES, etc.)Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to compile and analyze information, ensure data integrity, and provide resolutions or recommendations for improving operational processes. Excellent communication skills.Desired: experience applying RWD to specific healthcare and life sciences-related research questions and use cases, such as RWE/epidemiology, HEOR, R&D, commercial, public health.Experience with programming languages such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, etc.Strong SQL and/or Python skills are requiredExperience with data visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI desired.Experience with longitudinal patient data analysis is desiredA data-driven personality w/ Intellectual curiosity and internal motivation.Bachelor's degree is REQUIRED - preferably in a quantitative or healthcare informatics related fieldOur client is a leading
