Position Overview:

The Director of District Leadership Content & Training will lead the development of content, facilitate and manage high-impact training, overseeing both internal and external stakeholders to implement three statewide district and campus-level supports:

The Effective Schools Framework (ESF): Supports campuses with planning and implementing effective systems through the ESF Diagnostic.

The Effective District Framework (EDF): Supports districts with planning and implementing effective systems.

Texas Strategic Leadership (TSL): Provides coaching for superintendents and their leadership teams.

The Director will report to the Director of District Leadership Supports and will be responsible for quality assurance of content and supports.

Essential Functions

Program Planning, Strategy, and Plan Management:

Partner with District Leadership Supports director and other agency leaders to develop a 3-5 year strategy.

Content Development Management:

Manage team and vendors in high-quality content development.

Professional Development Delivery:

Directly deliver and manage team and partners to deliver high-impact professional development.

ESC TSL Team Coaching and Performance Management:

Manage annual scope and metrics/goals development.

Team Management and Supervision:

Manage and coach teammates effectively toward program outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university

Experience:

At least five (5) years of experience in managing large, complex projects.

Other Qualifications:

Keen eye toward building high-quality content.

Strong coaching and capacity-building skills.

Highly organized with strong long-term planning and project management skills.

Prior experience with Texas schools preferred.
