A well-established law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with at least two years of litigation experience to join the team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in legal research, writing, and litigation management, from case inception through resolution. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative legal team, working on diverse litigation cases while managing a personal caseload.Duties:Manage litigation cases from start to finish, including case strategy and resolutionDraft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and other filingsConduct depositions, mediations, and attend court appearancesPerform legal research and analysis to support case preparationAssist in trial preparation and provide support to senior attorneys during trialMaintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnelRequirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the Vermont Bar (Required)Admission to the New York Bar (Preferred but not required)Minimum of two years of litigation experienceStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and meet deadlinesEducation:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to Vermont Bar (Required)Admission to New York Bar (Preferred but not required)Skills:Proficient in legal research and analysisStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle a variety of litigation matters and meet deadlinesExcellent organizational and time management skillsComfortable managing multiple cases simultaneously
