A leading California-based law firm in Anaheim seeks an experienced Employment Defense Attorney with a minimum of four years of litigation experience in employment defense. This role is ideal for a skilled legal professional passionate about employment law and dedicated to achieving positive results in defense cases. The attorney will handle a diverse range of employment-related claims, supporting clients through complex litigation processes with excellence and integrity.Duties

Case Management : Manage a diverse caseload of employment defense cases, including claims involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related issues.Litigation : Represent clients in all stages of litigation, from initial filings and discovery through to trial and, if necessary, appeal.Client Interaction : Maintain open, strategic communication with clients, providing legal guidance and updates on case progress and status.Legal Research and Writing : Conduct in-depth legal research and draft motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and other necessary legal documentation.Court Appearances : Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as needed.Settlement Negotiations : Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution to secure favorable outcomes.Collaboration : Coordinate with fellow attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and top-quality client service.Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active California State Bar membership.Minimum of 4 years of experience in employment defense litigation.Strong understanding of California state and federal court procedures.Demonstrated capability to handle a high-volume caseload and meet strict deadlines.Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling class action lawsuits and complex litigation.Trial experience is highly desirable.Proven ability to foster and maintain strong client relationships.Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications

Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills
