Job Title: Mid-Level Litigation Associate AttorneyJob Overview:
A leading law firm, located in Short Hills, NJ, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its dynamic Litigation group. This position offers an exciting opportunity for attorneys who are passionate about litigation and have a strong background in science and the pharmaceutical industry. This role is hybrid, with options for working from various U.S. office locations including New York, Reston, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on case progress.Supervise and mentor junior associates and legal staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants to strengthen case strategy and arguments.Assist in fact development, including preparing for and conducting depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, legal briefs, motions, and memoranda with a focus on clarity and precision.Contribute to the development and execution of case strategy, ensuring alignment with clients’ objectives.Engage in research and analysis to support case preparation and legal arguments.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, ideally gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.A strong academic background, with a JD and excellent credentials from nationally recognized law schools.A science-related degree (MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology) is required.Bar admission to practice in New Jersey.Proven experience in products liability and/or complex commercial litigation, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Additional degrees in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology) are required.Certifications:Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent organizational and project management abilities.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with a persuasive approach.Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.Strong research and problem-solving skills, with a focus on conceptual thinking.Effective management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.Job Location:Short Hills, NJComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with company match.Opportunities for professional development and continuing legal education.A collaborative work environment that supports work-life balance.Company infoBCG Attorney Search125 Park Avenue, 25th floorNew YorkNew YorkUnited States 10017Phone :
