PureSky US Services LLC (“PureSky”) is a leading solar development company in the United States, committed to driving the transition to clean and renewable energy solutions. With a strong focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility, we are dedicated to developing, constructing, and operating solar projects that contribute to a greener future. As we continue to expand our footprint in the renewable energy industry, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team.Key Responsibilities:
As the CFO of PureSky, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, refinancing active portfolios, structuring tax equity and dept products, managing banking relationships and driving the overall financial health of the organization. You will work closely with the Company’s board of directors and other senior executives to ensure the sustainable growth of the company while maintaining financial stability. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Financial Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.Identify potential financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.Setup efficient cash flow forecasting and planning to accurately reflect the upcoming capital needs.Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Organize and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, for internal and external stakeholders.Conduct financial analysis, interpret data, and provide insights to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation.Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.Engage auditors and compliance counterparties to meet PureSky’s reporting requirements.Work with the tax, accounting and treasury teams to ensure compliance in all of PureSky’s financing agreements, including tax equity partnerships and lending facilities.Arrange for annual FMV reports to be delivered twice per year, once in December then again in June.Funding and Capital Management:
Collaborate with the executive team to identify funding needs and opportunities for raising capital to support the company's growth initiatives.Engage with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to negotiate and structure financial agreements and investments.Optimize capital structure and oversee cash flow management to ensure efficient use of resources.Establish and implement robust risk management processes to safeguard the company's assets and financial integrity.Monitor and assess financial risks, including market fluctuations, interest rate exposure, and currency risks, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.Sit on investment committee to contribute in making decisions related to company investments.Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Promote professional development opportunities and ensure the team remains updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or relevant professional certification is highly desirable.Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in the renewable energy industry, preferably with a solar developer or a similar organization.Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.Demonstrated success in financial strategy development and execution, including capital raising and financial planning.In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards including both IFRS and US GAAP.Existing relationships with effective audit firms who understand tax equity partnerships is a benefit.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Commitment to environmental sustainability and passion for contributing to the renewable energy sector.Strong understanding of the solar industry and federal tax credits is a strong plus.Annual Salary $240,000 - $260,000 USDBonus Opportunity: 50 % of annual salaryMedical, Dental and Vision Benefits, including generous company provided premium supportPaid Vacation Time – 3 weeks to start$100 per month pre-tax wellness benefitEqual Opportunity Employer:
