A law firm seeks a dedicated and experienced Trial & Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join its team in either Los Angeles or San Diego, CA. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-impact cases involving constitutional law, civil rights, eminent domain, and more. Candidates will be part of a collaborative environment and will participate in strategic decision-making in rapidly evolving legal areas.Duties
Handle complex litigation cases from initial pleadings through trial and appeal in both federal and state courts.Focus on areas such as constitutional law, civil rights, eminent domain, land use, and class action litigation.Develop litigation strategies, conduct legal research, and draft persuasive pleadings and motions.Manage electronic discovery and prepare for trial, including developing evidence and conducting witness interviews.Take and defend depositions and participate in all phases of trial preparation.Collaborate across teams and offices to achieve the best outcomes for clients.Requirements
3-5 years of litigation experience, particularly in state and federal courts.Strong skills in legal research, writing, and argument development.Experience managing complex cases and electronic discovery.Proven ability to handle dispositive motions and other pre-trial motions.Team-oriented, with the ability to work across multiple offices.Prior experience with eminent domain or real property cases is a plus.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications
Active bar membership in California.Skills
