Implement overall recruiting strategyDevelop and update job descriptions and job specificationsWork with management to perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectivesMonitor and apply HR recruiting best practicesProvide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the teamAct as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etcSource and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etcScreen candidates resumes and job applicationsConduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within scheduleAssess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes.Work with management to schedule orientationsOnboard new employees to become fully integrated.find and attract qualified applicants for open positionsreview resumes, focusing on skills matching up best to the requirements at hand
Skills/Competencies Required:
Knowledge of how to use social media and various hiring platforms.Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power PointSolid time management, organization, and prioritization skills; ability to work with little to no direct supervisionStrong interpersonal communication skills with various levels of company members and candidatesOutstanding people skillsProven work experience as a Talent Acquisition SpecialistSolid ability to conduct different types of interviewsHands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc.)Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking SystemsHands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong decision-making skills
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree preferred or 3-5 years of related recruiting experienceMust have a positive, engaging, and team-oriented outlookMust be willing to work weekends if business dictates a needOccasional travel may be requiredValid driver's license required
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with J1 and H2B Visa candidates.
Familiarity with military/veteran recruitment.
Experience recruiting for internships.
