Principal Consultant, Air Quality

to join the ERM team in Denver, CO. This is a partner-track opportunity for an air quality professional looking to further advance their career with a global environmental leader and to make a significant impact in successfully implementing ERM's global strategy.

ERM is structured to encourage collaboration and networking among regional offices, providing opportunities to collaborate with ERM’s national technical teams to share expertise and consulting opportunities. Our leaders proactively work together to build strategies and campaigns around key business drivers for our clients, with the primary focus of finding and delivering high-profile rewarding projects and building our business.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and implementation of a strategic market/business plan, provide leadership, and deliver financial results to expand ERM's Air Quality and Environmental Compliance Service Areas and client base.

Serve as a Senior expert for strategic air permits and compliance programs for a variety of industrial clients.

Manage project deliverables, budgets, and schedules as a lead for our existing teams.

As a “seller/doer,” contribute to expanding ERM’s air consulting and compliance services annually.

Capitalize on existing client relationships to expand ERM’s profile and market share.

Mentor junior and mid-level staff in the proper planning and execution of air quality projects.

Support the general growth and development of ERM’s Global Air Quality Services.

Successfully develop a working understanding of ERM’s other consulting service areas.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering or related degree.

6+ years' experience of solid air quality consulting experience.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal air regulations.

Ability to lead and grow the business in a dynamic market environment.

Strong track record of managing project deliverables, schedule, and budgets.

Familiarity with applicable environmental programs.

Understanding of the Colorado Department of Environmental Quality requirements.

Understanding of the manufacturing, oil & gas, technology, and chemical industries in Colorado.
