Job Description - Senior System Analyst Acute Clinical Systems MEDITECH - Remote (7410-7788)

What you’ll do:
As a
Senior System Analyst Acute Clinical Systems , you will implement strategies focused on the adoption of an Electronic Health Record (MEDITECH). You will support clinical applications and adoption within various platforms of MEDITECH (Expanse, Magic, Client Server) with emphasis on Operating Room Management/Surgery or Emergency Department. You will actively collaborate with end-users, facility leadership, and internal departments within the Health Support Center (HSC) to assure clinical processes and workflows are supported by the EHR.
Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of overall principles for safe design and use of order sets, focusing on workflow design and evidence-based practices to improve overall patient outcomes.
Engage with hospitals as they prepare for Promoting Interoperability attestation to ensure effective processes and system functionality.
Identify, escalate, and resolve issues as they occur and communicate with various stakeholders.
Assist with the development and implementation of necessary system training and support for end users.
Provide input and guidance to identify system deficiencies and analyze system problems and solutions.
Participate in coordinating installation of application changes, including maintenance/patches and software upgrades.
Identify and communicate system impact related to application changes and enhancements.
What you’ll need:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in clinical or computer science, or relevant experience required.
Experience:
5+ years clinical system technology design, hands-on, and implementation experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
