A law firm seeks a highly experienced and motivated Senior Associate Attorney to join its growing Trusts and Estates practice in Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in estate planning and estate administration. This position offers the opportunity for career growth, working directly with senior attorneys to assist in the implementation of complex estate tax minimization strategies. The role also includes handling real estate and business transactions, providing comprehensive legal services to the firm’s clients.Duties:Assist clients in creating comprehensive estate plans, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.Advise on and implement estate tax minimization strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families.Manage the administration of estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and client wishes.Work on business transactions, including the formation of LLCs, corporations, and partnerships, and preparation of associated documentation.Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and provide high-quality legal advice to clients.Maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and follow-up.Requirements:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and/or estate administration.Strong knowledge of estate tax laws and strategies for tax minimization.Experience in real estate and business law, particularly in entity formation and documentation.Ability to manage multiple complex cases efficiently and effectively.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues.Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Maryland (required).Additional Bar admissions in Washington, D.C., and Virginia (preferred).LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning (preferred).Skills:Expertise in estate planning and administration, including drafting complex legal documents.Strong analytical skills with the ability to craft tailored legal solutions.Proficiency in handling business transactions and understanding corporate structures.Ability to provide excellent client service and manage client relationships with professionalism.Location:This position offers a significant opportunity for professional advancement within a dynamic legal team.
