Fulton River Partners is working with an incredibly fast-growing family-owned CNC shop in the Berkeley area. This shop is owner-operated and specializes in precision CNC machining of custom metal components for some of the world’s largest aerospace, electronics, and healthcare companies. They have an incredibly strong culture - while they value years of experience, they are equally excited about hiring more junior level CNC professionals that can come in and learn and work their way up.
They are looking for talented 5 Axis CNC Programmers and/or Machinists to join their team onsite. Competitive salary especially for this area of the country, all wrapped in a fast-paced but enjoyable environment vs the norm of a traditionally slow manufacturing landscape that is a grind... no pun intended!

Work with the tool room to develop dies for the stamping shop. Work with planning/scheduling, operators & machinists to achieve quality and production goals. Can perform setup of lathes or mills. Understanding of GD&T. Work closely with engineering teams to provide crucial input on design for manufacturability. Open communication with engineers, management, and other team members. Design fixtures and tooling to set up complex machining operations for experimental parts. About You:
Minimum of five years of deep experience in CNC programming, setup, and/or operation of CNC machines. Strong technical expertise; programming and applications support, fixture and tool design and selection. Knowledge of CAD/CAM programming, especially Solidworks. Aerospace sector experience a plus but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with customers, sales, machinists, and management. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment - willing to collaborate with and assist team members. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
$65 - $75 an hour
Plus ample opportunity for overtime.
