Bollinger Motors is seeking a Sales Support Director to oversee and enhance the efficiency of our sales processes and ensure alignment with company and market goals. This position is instrumental in optimizing sales strategies, managing CRM systems, and supporting our sales team to achieve ambitious targets. This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. This is an in-person role at the company’s Oak Park, MI headquarters.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans for Class 4, 5, and 6 commercial electric vehicles.Analyze and streamline sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices to drive sales performance and customer satisfaction.Oversee the management and optimization of CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective use of sales tools.Monitor and analyze sales data and performance metrics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance sales efforts and achieve targets.Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management. Track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.Provide guidance and support to the sales operations team. Develop training programs and resources to enhance their skills and productivity. Overseeing yearly, midyear reviews and one on ones with employees.Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities and market conditions. Use this information to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.Minimum of 5 years in a sales operations role within the commercial vehicle or automotive industry.In-depth understanding of sales processes and best practices.Strong knowledge of the electric vehicle market and commercial vehicle market.Experience with CRM systems required, Salesforce strongly preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency with sales analytics tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.Strong organizational and project management skills.
