Toxic Tort Litigation Attorney

A leading litigation firm seeks a talented and motivated Toxic Tort Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation cases, develop client relationships, and prepare for trial. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, experience managing high-stakes cases, and a proactive attitude. This hybrid role provides a balance of in-office and remote work options.Duties:Take and defend depositions of experts and witnesses in toxic tort cases.Draft motions, pleadings, and other litigation-related documents for complex legal matters.Develop and manage discovery, including drafting requests and responses.Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear oral and written communication.Assist in trial preparation, including drafting motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists.Requirements:At least 2 years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation.Strong ability to manage complex litigation from inception to trial.Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in California.Skills:Proficiency in handling depositions, drafting motions, and managing discovery.Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently.Strong client communication skills, both written and oral.Experience working in a billable hours environment.
