A law firm seeks a Project Finance Associate Attorney for its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience with the following qualifications:Job Overview:
Role: Project Finance Associate AttorneyLocation: Washington, DCExperience: 4+ yearsDuties:
Draft and negotiate principal financing documentation for project financings, including purchase agreements, partnership agreements, credit agreements, security and pledge agreements, and depositary agreements.Review and advise on key commercial project documentation, such as development agreements, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Engineering, Procurement, Construction contracts (EPCs), site control, and interconnection agreements.Conduct thorough due diligence related to project finance transactions.Provide legal advice and support throughout the project development and finance lifecycle.Requirements:
JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.Admitted or eligible for admission in MA, DC, NY, or CA.4+ years of project finance experience at a law firm.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients.Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities.Ability to stay organized and exercise extreme attention to detail.Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.Education & Certifications:
JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.Skills:
