A prominent international law firm is seeking a Structured Finance Associate Attorney to join its team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), asset-backed securities (ABS), master repurchase agreements, and warehouse facilities, representing issuers and sponsors in structured finance transactions.LocationWashington, D.C.DutiesRepresent issuers and sponsors in residential mortgage and consumer receivable financing transactions.Manage and advise on structured finance matters, including RMBS, ABS, and related financing facilities.Collaborate with a diverse team of attorneys on complex financial transactions.Provide strategic counsel on structured finance deals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Draft and review legal documentation related to structured finance transactions.RequirementsExperience in structured finance law.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Strong interest in structured finance and entrepreneurial mindset.Prior experience at a peer law firm handling structured finance matters preferred.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.CertificationsAdmission to the D.C. Bar, or eligibility for waiver.SkillsExpertise in structured finance transactions, specifically in RMBS, ABS, and related financing structures.Strong legal research and drafting skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
