Associate Attorney - Global Finance

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Global Finance Group in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid background in syndicated lending and private credit, providing an opportunity to work on complex financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders.Duties:Draft and negotiate transaction documents related to syndicated lending and private credit deals.Lead financing transactions, ensuring compliance and alignment with client objectives.Collaborate with clients to provide strategic legal advice throughout the financing process.Develop familiarity with sponsor finance and leveraged buyout (LBO) financing structures.Conduct legal research and stay informed about current trends and regulations in global finance.Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and successful outcomes.Requirements:A minimum of 3 years of experience in syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending.Experience representing either borrowers or lenders is essential.Familiarity with sponsor finance and LBO financing is preferred.Candidates must be admitted or eligible for admission to the California bar.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership or eligibility for membership in the California state bar.Skills:Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with an eye for detail.Excellent analytical abilities and a comprehensive understanding of financial transactions.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction.A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
