Job Title : Private Credit Associate AttorneyJob Overview :A prominent law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Private Credit team. This role requires a skilled legal professional with a strong background in private credit and finance matters, aiming to support high-level financing transactions and advise on complex legal lending frameworks.Duties
Provide legal expertise and support in private credit and financing matters.Advise clients on a range of financing transactions, including:
Cash flow dealsAcquisitions and leveraged buyoutsRecapitalizationsAsset-based financings (if experienced)Restructuring and workout transactions (if experienced)
Draft, review, and negotiate lending agreements and related documents.Collaborate with other legal and finance professionals on multi-faceted transactions.Facilitate both lender- and borrower-side financing, ensuring compliance with legal standards.Requirements
Minimum 4-6 years of relevant legal experience in private credit or finance matters.Demonstrated experience in lending, with a preference for borrower-side exposure.Broad knowledge and hands-on experience in various financing transactions.Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications
Admission to the State Bar of California, or eligible for admission upon hiring.Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and thorough understanding of financing structures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented mindset with collaborative skills for working alongside diverse professionals.Job Location
