Job Description
The System Administrator III is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure. They work closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance, security and reliability, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This is a full-time position with hybrid and on-site opportunities available.

Responsibilities
Administering, installing, and troubleshooting a variety of operating systems
Performing systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery, and file maintenance
Scheduling, installing, and testing system software upgrades
Configuring software and resolving technical problems
Monitoring system performance and ensuring the reliability and availability of critical services
Managing user accounts, permissions and access controls in accordance with security policies
Developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, processes and procedures
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and troubleshooting
Providing mentorship to junior system administrators
Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system performance
Assisting in developing and enforcing IT policies and procedures
Requirements
4-7 years of experience in IT (system, network, or database administration)
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, or Linux
Knowledge of configuration management tools (Active Directory, JAMF, MDM, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)
Working knowledge of virtualization (VMware or equivalent)
Experience with scripting and automation tools a plus
System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus
Must be able to come into the office as needed
