Provide support and guidance to managers on people-related matters to assist them in being more effective in their role while gaining a deep understanding of the business. Reporting to the Senior Director, HRBP, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to provide strategic support, helping to drive key HR initiatives and align them with overall business goals.Serve as a trusted partner to managers, supporting them in executing the business and people strategies of the organization, including guidance on employee relations, interpreting and applying policies, and assisting with talent management, development, and organizational planning.Partner with HR colleagues, including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Benefits and Compensation to provide recommendations for client groups.Provide employee relations and performance management guidance and support to assigned client groups, including conducting low/medium complexity investigations.Support client groups in maintaining an effective organizational structure and ensuring the right talent is in place to align with business goals.Participate in the interview process and provide input and guidance in the talent selection process, as necessary.Ensure consistency and alignment with company standards and practices regarding employee relations, employee care, performance management and talent management.Successfully partner with Benefits to service the Workers Compensation plan.Ensure that day-to-day operations related to employee support, employment transactions, compliance matters, systems and processes are running properly.Effectively partner with the Talent Acquisition function to ensure talent is aligned with compensation philosophy, reporting structure, growth trajectory and scale.Execute programs, policies, and procedures to drive an engaged and high performing organizational culture.What will your duties and responsibilities be?The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:
3+ years of related Organizational Development and/or HR Generalist experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Track record of success serving business clients, experience in developing and implementing change initiatives, and serving in both strategic and operational HR roles.Demonstrated ability to deliver results, with a strong customer-focused orientation.Demonstrates high ethical and moral behaviors with unquestionable integrity.Coaching and consulting skills with the ability to quickly gain credibility and partner collaboratively with business leaders.Ability to identify and articulate appropriate concerns and solutions as related to change management.Project management abilities with a complete understanding of business processes.Understanding of the human capital aspects of business strategy and objectives.Highly developed analytical/problem solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Technical proficiency with MS Office Suite, HRIS, and ATS.Strong professional judgment and sensitivity to working in a highly confidential work environment.Strong knowledge of HR policies and practices, Federal/California employment laws and regulations.Ability to work regularly and daily at the Carlsbad facility.What skills and experience will you need?The education, knowledge, skills and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.Education/Certifications:
