This full-time, in-office role in Westlake Village involves providing personalized estate planning services to both new and returning clients.Duties:Meet with prospective clients to gather necessary information and provide estate planning recommendations.Review existing estate plans with returning clients, suggesting updates or changes where appropriate.Provide fee estimates and manage client engagement for estate planning services.Prepare and finalize estate planning documents, ensuring they meet the client’s needs and legal requirements.Facilitate the execution of engagement agreements and process payments.Utilize task management systems (e.g., Lawcus, Asana) to manage tasks, respond to emails, and track project progress.Conduct client review meetings, explain estate plans, and address any client questions or concerns.Identify potential referrals to affiliated financial advisors and manage appropriate disclosures.Respond promptly to client phone calls and emails, maintaining thorough records of all communications and meetings.Participate in periodic attorney meetings to discuss complex matters and ensure comprehensive legal strategies.Attend regular department and staff meetings.Assist with additional projects as assigned.Requirements:A minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning law.Familiarity with California income, gift, and estate tax laws.Experience managing estate planning matters from consultation to document finalization.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in California.Certified Specialist in Trusts, Wills, and Probate (preferred but not required).Certifications:Must be licensed to practice law in California.Notary Public certification is a plus.Certified Specialist in Trusts, Wills, and Probate is preferred.Skills:Strong oral and written communication skills.Excellent organizational, proofreading, and time management abilities.Proficient in the use of task management systems and basic computer literacy.Capable of managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.401(k) plan with up to 4% match.Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Paid Vacation and Sick Leave.Referral program.This position provides an excellent opportunity for an attorney to engage with clients and build long-term relationships by providing tailored estate planning services in a supportive and collaborative environment.Company info:,ActualValueFromSolar:null},{QuestionName:External Title,AnswerValue:Regional Vice President - Southern California,VerityZone:formtext4,QuestionType:text,ActualValueFromSolar:null},{QuestionName:Employment Type,AnswerValue:Full-t...How we LEAD: Merchandise and commerce is becoming part of the fabric of music culture.
