This means that we support hospitals, laboratories, and public safety centers. Simply put - We cannot go dark. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and installing sophisticated circuits and performing custom installations.Are you interested in a customer-facing role that focuses on organizing technology such as servers and fiber optic cabling? This job could be for you!ResponsibilitiesRacks and stacks customer equipmentReads installation plans (Visio Drawings / Spreadsheets) and implements installation accordinglyInstalls circuits requiring sophisticated fiber terminationsResolves work priorities from a ticketing queue and ensures adherence to all contribute timesTroubleshoots switched / multiplexed / media converted circuits; escalates to, and works with networking group, as needed.Works with customers to troubleshoot issuesInstalls/tests/modifies cross connects per SOPs and ensures accurate cable management of coax, fiber, twisted pair copper, and intra-building cross connectsInstalls and tests sophisticated cross connects circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)Maintains detailed written records of all work activityDesigns and leads cage / infrastructure modification projectsCompletes all assigned training in a timely mannerSupports customer happiness through timely and detailed order executionQualifications2 years+ or equivalent of experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentA natural curiosity and strong troubleshooting skillsNight shift (7pm-7am) IS REQUIRED two quarters per yearYou are capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and are agile in manual dexterity (climb, stoop, etc.) with or without an accommodation.24/7 Operation - Your flexibility to work any assigned shift, off-schedule, fill in for workmate, respond to emergencies, holidays, nights, etc.The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $53,000 to $82,000 per yearOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
