ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Work directly with executive and operational staff to design and validate reports, dashboards, and other data products to improve businessTune Microsoft SQL Server databases and queries for our data warehouseBuild, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages that move data from and between a variety of sourcesDevelop and optimize Paginated Reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports or Power BI PremiumWork with other team members to optimize development approaches and team processesPerform code reviews and evaluate reports and packages for best practicesContribute to development standards for the teamCoach internal business partners to develop self-service analytics capabilities throughout the organizationDevelop Power BI reports and the associated infrastructure, utilizing Power BI Premium and Azure servicesAssist in migrating reporting workloads from SQL Server + SSRS to Snowflake + Power BI/Paginated ReportsInfluence our strategic roadmap for data engineering, BI, and analyticsDrive quality and reliability throughout our data stackOther duties as assignedThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceFour+ years of relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Analytics EngineerExperience working in an Agile/Scrum environmentExperience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasetsCertifications & Licenses

Professional certification may be required in some areas.MUST COMPLETE PI ASSESSMENT IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION:
