Position: CDL A Truck Driver

Travel: primarily in PA. Some regional travel possible in MD/VA/NC

We are currently seeking a Truck Driver with a CDL A with Tanker endorsement to join our Grooving and Grinding team.

Reporting to direct field supervision, the Truck Driver is responsible truck inspections, driving and operating our grinder & bridge groover on the construction site. Other tasks may include but not limited to carrying materials and heavy objects, stacking materials, cleaning of job site. This position works along with the entire Project Team to support the completion of assigned construction tasks and ensures all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines.

This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction.

This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.

Qualifications:Experience in Heavy Highway construction preferredCDL A w/ tanker endorsementFamiliar with concrete work, paving, bridge construction, other highway construction tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-orientedJob Duties and Responsibilities:

Operating grinder & bridge grooverCarrying, loading, unloading and stacking materialsOperating /driving CDL type truckMoving material including soil and rock from location to location on the job siteDriving on rough terrain in a safe mannerPerforming routine maintenance to equipment on a daily basis and reporting any mechanical problems immediately to the supervisorPhysical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground level to waist level and assist with loading and/or unloadingMust be able to be bounced around when driving on very rough terrain. Must be willing to help in other construction related tasks when not driving.Must be able to climb into cab of truck and climb down from the truck cabMust be able to bend, squat, and kneel to perform essential tasks including maintenance and inspection of equipmentMust be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands to move levers/controls to operate the truck and dump attachmentRequired to have acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearingMust be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather.Job Benefits:
