AV ALTA FC is an expansion club of the United Soccer League. The Club will begin play in Lancaster, California in March 2025. The Club will consist of a professional men's team to compete in USL League One and a pre-professional women's team to compete in the USL W League. Both teams will play in a newly renovated, soccer-specific Lancaster Municipal Stadium, only the fourth professional soccer-specific stadium in Southern California. The Antelope Valley is an untapped soccer hotbed in north Los Angeles County, with thousands of youth players and many thousands more supporting the game at all levels.
Job Summary:
Head of Corporate Partnerships is a full-time position leading the corporate sales department. This individual will be responsible for selling integrated corporate partnership programs that incorporate all soccer and stadium-controlled assets. These assets would include, but not limited to, traditional in-stadium signage, in-stadium and community activations, broadcast and Internet. The Head of Corporate Partnerships will manage and oversee the entire sales process from the prospecting phase for new business to the execution of the contractual agreements with the corporate partners. He or she will also be responsible for creating partnership proposals, a comprehensive rate card and a pro forma accounting for all cash, barter and costs of sale. He or she will personally manage all partner relationships and services.

Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of strategic departmental plans consistent with company business objectivesResponsible for achieving established sales goals and budgetsResponsible for prospecting, selling, cultivating, maintaining and renewing sponsorships, advertising, and corporate partnerships for a professional soccer team and stadiumDevelop, write and present corporate sponsorship proposals to key clientsResponsible for overseeing customer service and activation of corporate partnersInterface with ticket sales, marketing, broadcasting and accounting on internal systems and processes related to sponsorship fulfilment and paymentOther duties as assignedRequired Skills:
Prior experience selling multi-faceted advertising and sponsorship platforms to local, regional and national companies, with a strong preference for professional sports team experienceStrong prospecting and project management skillsPrior experience developing, writing and presenting sales proposalsPrior experience with creating and implementing budgets and sales projectionsStrong conceptual and strategic skills, and ability to think "outside the box," and strong customer satisfaction orientationStrong leadership skillsDemonstrate creativity in the development of innovative and effective sales campaignsDemonstrate ability to work with all personality types at the staff and management levelsStrong computer skills, specifically in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent writing and language skillsExcellent communication skillsPublic speaking and presentation skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to Multi-task is essentialRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferredMinimum of 3 years of corporate sales experienceProven track record of personal and team achievements, with the ability to "make things happen"Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required and travel as neededMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds when setting up/tearing down sponsor activationsBilingual (English & Spanish) a plus
Compensation:Salary Expectations: $80,000-$120,000 *Flexible based on experience and commissions*
