The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting IT Business System Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations by managing and analyzing data using Adenza Controller View. This role involves working closely with IT and business departments to standardize financial statement preparations and presentations, ensuring data integrity and control, and providing timely and accurate submissions.

Responsibilities

Manage and analyze data to ensure compliance with financial regulations. This involves working with the Adenza Controller view platform to manage data integrity and control.

Participating in gap analyses and reviewing deliverables. Leading interviews, workshops, and questionnaires to engage with different data source owner

Collaborate with IT and business departments to gather and analyze data for regulatory reporting

Developing functional documentation for assigned exposure types, including process flows, user guides, and training materials. Assisting in developing expected results based on the methodology per exposure type

Provide recommendations for improving data quality and integrity.

Defining logical source to target data transformation rules and data quality rules by working closely with the technology leads and subject matter experts. Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance.

Assist in the design and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades.

Participate in client engagement (projects, discussions) and own all business analysis responsibility from a domain/business point of view.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.

Assist in the solution of production problem/incidents within SLAs.

Develop practice capabilities and brand recognition by exercising thought leadership, establishing a consultative presence within Cognizant and the wider consulting community, and participating in professional organizations;

Participate in PeopleCare activities; Mentor and support less experienced Consultants for the benefit of the practice.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years working in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development within the Banking & Financial Services Consulting Services

Minimum 7 years of experience in hands-on business analysis experience (requirements gathering, data analysis) and preparation of FRD (Functional Requirement Documents) / BRD (Business Requirement Documents).

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skilled with Adenza ControllerView, and experience mapping new data in, configuring regulatory reports

Executing and validating the reports during daily, monthly, and quarterly cycles.

Good knowledge of Capital Markets, Risk (Credit Risk, Financial Risk), and Regulatory reporting.

Understanding of financial regulations such as FRY 9C, FRY 14Q/M/A,Liquidity Risk Reporting (FR 2052a), Basel III (EAD, PD, LGD), RWA, SCCL, CCAR / FR 2590 reporting, and monitoring requirements

Sound understanding of financial instruments, reference data domains, source to destination data mapping.

Experience working in agile projects, using Jira, creating user stories, and overall knowledge of the agile framework

Experience in data ingestion, data transformation/enhancement, data lineage.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven expertise in resolving minor conflicts and issues before escalation.

Experience with ETL processes and tools.
