Community Development (Community Services & Development)Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Rural and Remote Mental Health Service, ParksideSalary: $114,314 - $124,449 - AHP4; $128,327 - $133,758 - RN4A - Temp F/T (up to 1/7/2025)Please note that this position will be filled at either AHP4 or RN4A classification.OverviewWorking within a multidisciplinary team framework, in collaboration with other health professionals, service providers and the community, you will ensure the provision of high quality service standards and practices to consumers of regional mental health services. You will provide advice, expertise and support to the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network Mental Health Senior Executive in relation to clinical areas of risk, and clinical and corporate safety and quality initiatives across regional services. Leading the development of a culture of safety, quality and risk management that is aligned with National Standards and SA Health Frameworks, you will help to deliver critical systems that support evaluation and consistent ongoing improvement of consumer safety and quality of care. This will include working collaboratively and in partnership across a broad range of government, non-government and private practitioners/service providers.QualificationsFor appointment at the AHP4 level, you will hold a recognised qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology, and be eligible for full membership of the relevant professional association. For appointment at the RN4 level, you will be eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate, along with a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent). Demonstrating expertise in mental health practice, you will have a sound understanding of the relevant standards and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical setting. You will possess strong leadership abilities including highly developed communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
