Job SummaryPosition requires a team player with basic knowledge of various processes, operations, and machines. Production Operator will be responsible for: Felting/molding, light table inspection and assembly, stamping, sanding/deflashing, and packing. A variety of basic skills are required to fill in this position, as well as a positive attitude and willingness to succeed.
Primary ResponsibilitiesOperates felting, molding, light table inspection and assembly, stamping, sanding/deflashing, and packing equipment, as each task requires.Must be able to identify components by batch number and provide acceptable workmanship.Must be able to learn and apply SPC applications, basic problem solving, and basic corrective action.Must possess good hand and eye coordination/manual dexterity.Must be able to have a high degree of concentration for an extended period of time.Ability to adhere to all work instructions per applicable MSPI's and safety/environmental procedures.Position may require standing or sitting for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting of 45 lbs.Good visual inspection and usage of measurement toolsPosition requires employees to be cross-trained or transfer to other buildings/programs by incorporating into a team environment as requested.Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.Understand and live by Armtec's ethics and business conduct policies.Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. GovernmentMust have the ability to learn basic machine operations.Ability to read and comprehend written MSPI instructions in English.Must have basic math skills.Must have the ability to learn and apply SPC applications.Special training in Visual StandardsMust be dependable, responsible, accurate and have the ability to deal with people effectively.Armtec Competencies
