Position Summary:
As the Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Reasonable Accommodation partners that support high volume cases and complex and sensitive case management of Reasonable Accommodation requests throughout the enterprise. In addition to day-to-day management of your team, you will provide guidance and coaching on complex and sensitive cases, identify trends and recommend solutions, identify, and provide training opportunities for your team and key stakeholders who interact with the RA process, and influence key stakeholders as appropriate. Additionally, as a leader, you will be responsible for handling executive escalations and escalated matters reported to your team.
You will support the development and execution of Reasonable Accommodation processes and practices, ensuring holistic compliance (including but not limited to, ADA/ADAA, Title VII, applicable State, Federal laws, and company policy). You will work closely across the Enterprise with key stakeholders, including but not limited to HR Leadership, Talent Acquisition, Leave of Absence, Colleague Relations, and Legal counsel, to mitigate any potential risk to the company and address and resolve simple to complex Reasonable Accommodation issues.
You will accomplish this by:
Leading the day-to-day case work of Reasonable Accommodations across the Enterprise through supervision of team.
Managing and providing expert advice and guidance, ensuring appropriate responses to any related Reasonable Accommodation issues, particularly executive escalations and escalated matters.
Identifying trends in Reasonable Accommodation cases and conduct root cause analysis to identify areas of opportunity to mitigate risk and recommend solutions to key stakeholders.
Participating in the development of positive employee relations across the Enterprise, with a focus on upskilling our people leaders.
Coaching team members including but not limited to: spot check, case review, case calibration, performance coaching.
Facilitating and overseeing the onboarding of new team members.
Identifying and providing training opportunities for the continued development of team members.
Recommend and implement process improvement to improve team efficiency, effectiveness, and colleague experience.
Leading projects, as appropriate, in the proactive enhancement of Reasonable Accommodations evolution, as part of broader Colleague Relations, HR or business priorities.
Develops strategies to enhance colleague engagement through fostering a positive work culture across the Enterprise.
Staying informed on legal developments and best practices in the Reasonable Accommodations space.
*The ideal candidate would work in a hybrid capacity 3 days per week *
Required Qualifications
At least 7 years of experience in reasonable accommodations, employee relations and/or human resources
3+ years of people management/supervisory experience
In-depth knowledge of case management software (e.g. SalesForce, Navex, ServiceNow, HR Equity, AbsenceSoft, et)
Knowledge of current states and federal employment laws and regulations related to Reasonable Accommodations, ADA/ADAAA and Title VII.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: ADA Certification, PHR/SPHR, CP/SCP,.
Education
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent years of work experience may substitute.
Master’s degree preferred.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.40
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
