Location : Washington State, near AshfordPosition : Locum Tenens - Interventional Radiology PhysicianSetting : Hospital-based practice in a Level 3 Trauma CenterSchedule :
Day Shift : 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Call Coverage : Required for the full week if on rotationWeekend Requirements : Full 24-hour call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays
Caseload : Approximately 8-11 cases daily, with a high volume of paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsiesFacility Highlights:
Emergency Volume : Approximately 55,000 annual ER visitsEMR System : EPIC, with teleradiology support via Philips ISite platformSupport Staff : Includes two local interventional radiologists and a team of IR support professionalsResponsibilities:
Conduct a variety of imaging and interventional procedures:
Required Imaging Procedures : Angiography, CT, and UltrasoundRequired Interventional Procedures : Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stenting, needle biopsies, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty
Collaborate with a large team of radiologists across the health systemQualifications:
Board Certification : AOBR or ABR in Interventional Radiology RequiredFellowship Training : Strongly preferred in Interventional Radiology (IR)Licensure : Active Washington State medical license RequiredCertifications : ACLS certification RequiredCredentialing:
Timeframe : Approximately 3-4 months to complete credentialingAdditional Information:
