to lead our procurement team and drive strategic purchasing initiatives. This role is crucial to optimizing the sourcing and procurement of all components, raw materials, and consumables, both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
strategic sourcing ,
supplier management , and
contract negotiation
to support company-wide cost-saving and efficiency goals.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:Develop and execute sourcing plans for optimal procurement of goods and services.Identify cost-saving opportunities, drive supplier consolidation, and lead market analysis.Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate suppliers and enhance sourcing strategies.Supplier Management:Select and evaluate suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.Negotiate favorable contracts, ensuring compliance with agreements and driving continuous improvement.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term value.Inventory & Demand Management:Track inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement inventory control measures.Optimize inventory turns to prevent stockouts and reduce excess.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with production, sales, and finance teams to align procurement strategies.Streamline processes and foster collaboration between departments for efficient operations.Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure contract compliance with legal and company standards.Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including quality concerns and disruptions.Team Leadership & Development:Lead and mentor the purchasing team, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.Provide performance feedback and support team members professional growth.Additional Responsibilities:Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams on technical requirements.Oversee shipping, customer service, and materials handling related to procurement.Maintain a safe and compliant workplace, addressing emergencies and reducing risks.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Strong negotiation skills and experience in ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, and supplier management tools.Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strategic mindset for solution-driven decision-making.
