Position Overview:

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions, integrations, and enhancements for our existing platforms and applications. You'll work closely with clients in the trucking and logistics space, ensuring seamless integrations between our solutions and third-party systems, optimizing workflows, and addressing specific industry needs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software development, particularly with customizing and integrating software systems for the trucking and transportation industries. This position is based in our Oklahoma City, OK office, and candidates must be willing to work on-site full-time.

Key Responsibilities:Customization & Integration Development:

Write custom code to modify and extend existing applications, ensuring they meet client-specific requirements. Develop integrations with third-party systems, such as fleet management software, GPS tracking systems, TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and ELD (Electronic Logging Devices) solutions.Collaborate with Stakeholders:

Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.API Integration:

Design, develop, and maintain APIs for integrating with various systems used in the trucking and logistics space, such as inventory management, route planning, and invoicing systems.Optimize and Enhance Existing Systems:

Improve the functionality, usability, and performance of current systems to ensure they meet industry standards and customer expectations.Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues:

Identify, debug, and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Documentation & Best Practices:

Maintain clear and concise documentation for customizations and integrations. Promote best practices for code quality, maintainability, and scalability.Stay Updated:

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in the trucking and logistics sector to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

3+ years of professional software development experience, including customizations, integrations, and API development.Industry Experience:

Proven experience working within the trucking, transportation, or logistics industries is highly preferred. Familiarity with fleet management systems, TMS platforms, ELDs, GPS tracking, and related technologies is a strong advantage.Languages & Tools:

Proficient in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with integration tools and frameworks (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, GraphQL).Cloud Technologies:

Strong experience with

Microsoft Azure

and Azure-based services (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure API Management, etc.) for building scalable and reliable cloud applications. Experience with Azure DevOps or Azure Pipelines is a plus.Database Skills:

Strong experience working with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and developing database-driven applications.Problem-Solving:

Ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective, efficient technical solutions.Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Collaboration:

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team, managing both individual tasks and collaborative efforts.On-Site Work Requirement:

Must be willing to work full-time in our corporate office located in Oklahoma City, OK.Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with the trucking industry-specific software such as dispatch, fleet management, route optimization, and electronic logging systems.Knowledge of data formats like JSON, XML, and familiarity with webhooks and real-time data processing.Experience with agile development methodologies.
