This is a 1st shift opportunity.**Job Responsibilities**+ Final and gate process/ product audits for all production lines.+ Special attention to detail on ETO (Special Order) units.+ Audit against applicable standards, specifications and procedures.+ Review completion and audit check sheets for every unit.+ Enforce and log nonconformances/disruptions within Quality system.+ Daily report out of test pass/fails and nonconformances.+ Criteria set out in Manufacturing Work Instructions/Specifications for Quality.+ Complete weekly process audits.+ Take pictures of all units being audited and upload them for traceability.+ Responsible for printing and compiling XR job folders.+ Provide troubleshooting & analysis support for operational quality issues including analysis of process, measurement of product, capability data analysis.+ Lead and support containment for internal and customer issues identified.+ Provide support of 8D activities for plant/ supplier quality issues.+ Support implementation of quality systems and technologies (ISO9001).+ Support system level documentation of work instructions and plant processes.+ Support/ lead rework as needed and defined by quality engineer/ manager.+ Provide immediate support/direction to operations troubleshooting quality issues.+ Measure components as required+ Verify process documentation is accurate & adequate (ASME UL verification, Pro Cert)+ Ensure integrity of containment activities (including supplied components as needed)+ Other activities as required by the Quality Manager / Engineer or to protect Carrier customers.+ Coach, lead and train associates and technicians in process/ work instruction changes & Quality Alerts.**Required Qualifications**+ High School Diploma or GED.+ Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.+ Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day with appropriate breaks.+ Ability to lift up to 35lbs.**Preferred Qualifications**+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as written documentation procedures.+ Ability to read Blueprints.+ SAP basics.+ Ability to handle competing priorities and manage time appropriately.+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.+ Mechanical aptitude.+ Weld and/or braze or Inspection experience.+ Occasionally pushing a WIP unit using aerogo carts or wheeled frames.+ Climbing on top of and underneath large industrial equipment.RSRCAR#LI-Onsite**Carrier is An Equal** **Opportunity/Affirmative** **Action Employer.
