Join us and we can make a difference together.About The Role:The primary responsibility of the position is the engineering development of commercial water chilling systems. The role includes leading the integration of mechanical system designs into chiller and split system new product development programs. In this capacity, the senior engineer will be responsible for developing solutions that best meet the local/global market needs by integrating multiple technologies in the product. To do this, the senior engineer must have a strong understanding of the thermodynamics of the chiller system, chiller modeling, tube in shell heat transfer, pressure vessel design, refrigerant system performance analysis and compression application.Role Responsibilities:
Thermodynamic based modeling and optimization of chiller system design, fluid filtration and pumpingWork cross functionally with service and operations teams to effectively launch designs into productionDevelop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds the product development requirementsConfirm product design performance, capability and reliability in the engineering product test laboratoriesCollaborate with the product marketing teams locally to develop product requirements and ensure that the product meets their needs when launchedExecute tests for systems, sub-systems, and components. Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives.Follow all appropriate design, safety, and qualification standards in development programs.Work toward commonality and optimization of product & components to reduce design errors and escapes.Produce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requestsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of systems engineering experiencePreferred Qualifications:Project leadership experienceExperience in a new product development, service and/or aftermarket space, preferredHVAC industry experience, strongly preferredStrong communication skills, primarily in EnglishLeadership and teamwork skills requiredLI-onsite#RSRCARCarrier is An Equal
