Certification Details Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Job Details Position Template Facility Name: Mercy Hospital South Floor: Med Stepdown THIS POSITION IS AUTO-OFFER Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN Specialty: Stepdown Number of Openings: 1 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 – must be indicated on submission form Assignment Length: 13 weeks ALL CONTINGENCY REQUESTS MUST BE ON THE SUBMISSION FORM Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Job Requirements Required Licensure: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.) Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Years of Experience: 1 year Stepdown Float Requirements: as needed, to a similar or lower acuity unit Must Have Skills/Experience: 1 year Stepdown, inpatient only; Trach/Vent experience Schedule Information Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:30 Weekend Hours: As required by facility / every other weekend Call Requirements: None Unit Specific Information Number of Beds: 22 Patient Ratios: 1:3/4 Equipment: TRACH, VENT, VAPO, BIPAP EMR: EPIC Type of Patients on Unit: Respiratory failure, ETOH, Overdose, GI Bleed, Electrolyte Imbalance, COPD, Cancer Additional Details Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
