The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to work from technical drawings and CAD models.Key Responsibilities:Programming:Develop and write CNC programs for various machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders.Utilize CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks) to create and modify programs.Ensure programs are optimized for efficiency and accuracy.Setup and Operation:Set up CNC machines and conduct test runs to ensure programs are functioning correctly.Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed to achieve desired specifications.Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.Quality Control:Perform regular quality checks on produced parts to ensure they meet specifications.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.Maintain detailed records of programming and production activities.Collaboration:Work closely with engineers, machinists, and other team members to ensure smooth production processes.Provide technical support and training to machine operators as needed.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.Qualifications:Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, particularly Mastercam and SolidWorks.Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Skills:CNC programming and setupCAD/CAM software proficiencyQuality control and troubleshootingTechnical drawing interpretationTeam collaboration and communication
