Position Summary:

Hillwood Properties is seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Retail Leasing Associate

to support and contribute to the expansion and development of our retail portfolio within AllianceTexas. Reporting to the Vice President (VP) of Retail, this individual will play a key role in tenant prospecting, lease review and execution, and strategic planning for retail growth. The ideal candidate is energetic, forward-thinking, collaborative, and committed to delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

Assist with marketing and leasing of retail spaces and pad sites within the AllianceTexas corridor, including land sales and ground leasing.Manage and execute the entire transaction lifecycle, from initial client engagement and lease negotiations to contract execution.Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective tenants, fostering long-term interest and partnerships through strategic client engagement.Attend industry events (e.g., ICSC, NTCAR) to network with brokers, industry professionals, and potential clients, strengthening Hillwood’s market presence.Lead property tours for existing and prospective clients, providing comprehensive insights and showcasing retail opportunities.Create and deliver tailored presentations and marketing materials, equipping clients with the necessary information to make informed decisions.Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute property construction and renovation projects.Coordinate project timelines with development and construction teams, providing regular updates to clients and ensuring project milestones are met.Maintain a deep understanding of market conditions, lease rates, competitive developments, and costs, ensuring Hillwood’s offerings remain competitive and attractive.Provide high-touch customer service, ensuring client needs are met throughout the entire transaction and project lifecycle.Required Skills and Abilities:

Exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.Competent in working autonomously, managing multiple tasks, and efficiently meeting deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with high-level internal and external executives.Exhibit professionalism, integrity, ethical standards, and leadership qualities.Ability to build and sustain strong relationships.Possesses a strong work ethic, adaptability, and proficiency in multitasking.Skilled in MS Office; familiarity with CoStar and Crexi is advantageous.In-depth understanding of real estate fundamentals and investment principles.Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in real estate or a related field required.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry; prior leasing experience strongly preferred.Retail experience strongly preferred.Proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, executing, and closing transactions.Knowledgeable about current market dynamics, with specific experience in the target market.
