The Sr FP&A Analyst meets with Executive Director of Developer Services and as necessary, developer teams and their consultants, regularly to prepare and review residential budgets as well as other projects that have shared budgets (costs that are shared between various parcels such as hotel, residents, office, commercial, etc.), operating and budgets for future and current projects.

  • Meet with Developer team, clients and consultants on a regular basis, assisting with obtaining supporting information for projects including budget estimates.
  • Assist in establishing policies and procedures for budgeting, as needed.
  • Assist in establishing benchmarking for various project operating costs.
  • Assist in problem solving as needed.
  • Gather specific data including market trends on labor costs and other financial metrics.
  • Assist with any training on budgets as needed.
  • If requested, participate in Regional DM meetings and other corporate or industry meetings held.
  • Periodically meet with Boards, Developers, Consultants and KWPM staff to accumulate, discuss and provide budget information.
  • Assist Developer team as necessary by responding to requests from Boards, Developers and/or KWPM staff within a timely manner. As a form of policy, a professional response must be provided within 24 hours of request. If request cannot be turned around in prescribed timeframe, then team member must inform requester of such.
  • Respond to requests from corporate staff within a timely manner, as stated above.
  • Keep abreast of any material expenses that may affect budgeting.
  • Assess tasks and prioritize them to ensure completion of deliverables by deadlines.
  • Clear review notes.
  • Perform administrative functions including but not limited to record keeping, accounts receivables and billing, tracking the progression of projects, and assistance and support with the preopening of new development properties.
  • Track important dates and meetings, such as design meetings, legal meetings, budget meetings, etc.
  • Train on budget process and /or utilization of budget template.
  • Work with financial institutions as needed.
  • Review association governing documents and extract pertinent information for budget preparation.
  • Use of KWPMC systems.


This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required lift objects up to 25 lbs.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the company.

Some travel may be required to attend client meetings, company sponsored meetings and trainings.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' work experience preparing budgets.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or other Business Degree.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting for not-for-profit entities (HOA, Condo Association, etc.)
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and a commitment to meeting reporting deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel and Word) with advanced Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with Power BI is a strong plus
