This position is a hybrid position and requires 4 days per week in Toccoa, GA.
The Accounting Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for gathering data to provide analytical reporting and project support to senior management of the Accounting Department and Company. The Analyst provides high level support to the VP/Controller by analyzing variances, conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and other high-level accounting functions.

The Accounting Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for gathering data to provide analytical reporting and project support to senior management of the Accounting Department and Company. The Analyst provides high level support to the VP/Controller by analyzing variances, conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and other high-level accounting functions.
Performs Analysis and Develops Reports
- Reconcile data from disparate sources and provide recommendations on resolving discrepancies
- Collect, standardize, and analyze internal and external data to gain actionable insights in support of financial analysis
- Actively monitor and analyze trends of key financial metrics and the underlying drivers
- Helps Senior Management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports
- Compiles, maintains, and prepares a wide range of reports for both internal and external reporting
Create Integrated, Reconciled, and Automated Reporting Platform
- Publish products of financial analysis as needed in collaboration with various teams
- Create impactful KPI and Dashboard reporting
- Analyze variances
- Collect feedback from reporting consumers and incorporate as continuous enhancements
- Document work processes used for financial reporting
Essential Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in finance, economics, business, accounting, mathematics, statistics, or engineering
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in analytical reporting
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with financial statements and cash-flow analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Must have familiarity with General Ledger software systems
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze relevant information and apply individual judgment.
- Advanced interpersonal relationship skills at a variety of levels and greatly differing social and business settings
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Self-starter who can accomplish all responsibilities independently with minimal guidance as well as collaborate cross-functionally in a team environment.
- Ability to function in a commercial business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.
- Strong communication skills (verbal / written / interpersonal)
- Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate
Preferred:
- Corporate Financial Accounting experience
- Relevant experience
- Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Sage Intacct.
