About the work environment:
Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.
We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto and Vancouver. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

You are an experienced Account Manager or fintech industry consultant who thrives on identifying and executing opportunities to create value and build strong relationships with your clients. You are an organized self-starter with great internal and external stakeholder communication skills. You can effectively manage client expectations and you are adept at problem solving. You leverage your experience working in financial services or similarly regulated industries and understand the role risk and compliance play, all while delivering results through world-class customer interactions.

Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. In addition, we are pleased to offer employees both group benefits and the option to participate in our RRSP matching program, beginning the first day of employment. Salary for this position will vary between $90,000 and $120,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possesses. As part of our recruiting process, shortlisted candidates will be asked their salary expectations for this position.

About the qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in relationship management, ideally in the fintech or banking industries.
- Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply creativity to business problems.
- Project management skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Strategic Account Management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics, CRM and other software.
About the day-to-day:
- Responsible for commercial client communications including regular touch points, advice on internal policies, and problem resolution.
- Liaise with internal departments and advocate for clients' interests within Peoples Group.
- Meet with clients by phone, web conferencing and in person.
- Provide weekly updates to the executive team on all account activity.
- Experience interacting and presenting to all levels of management as well as to clients.
- Manage clients' expectations professionally and ensure that their issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
- Support business objectives of individual clients and provide strategic insight into clients' program.
- Responsible for managing and negotiating agreements, including pricing, for all assigned clients.
- Identify opportunities within client portfolios and propose new products and services to enhance performance.
