Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to successfully leverage existing relationships and cultivate new relationships
- Pitch trade ideas to clients and provide relevant analysis to support recommendations
- Partner with investment professionals and assess market dynamics and strategies through sharing market insights as it relates to trading levels, liquidity and flows
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and impact on the business.
- Effectively partner with other asset class teams to promote cross-selling across the firm
- Work with mid-office and sales assistants to ensure that trades are captured and confirmed in a timely fashion
- Work closely with sales to understand the objectives of their clients and/or expand the Firm's franchise
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA and/or CFA a plus
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in credit markets, Sovereign or Corporate bonds
- In depth understanding of bond markets, products and structures
- Proven relationship with EM institutional investors
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
- Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Self-starter
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Compensation:
- BTIG offers competitive compensation and is required by law to include an estimate of the salary range for each role. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
- The current base salary range/draw for this role is $150,000 - $275,000 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
