Senior Accountant

Duties:

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial reporting, including:
  • Preparing and recording corporate journal entries (e.g., accruals, payroll).
  • Analyzing and researching general ledger account activity.
  • Preparing complex balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Reconciling intercompany transactions, including P&L, assets, liabilities, and equity.
  • Identify, implement, and monitor process improvements for efficiency.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support special projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team, RCM and other departments to coordinate closing activities.
  • Support the annual audit process and annual tax filing process by preparing white papers and providing responses to external resources.
  • Utilize analytical skills to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Enhance systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with financial accounting objectives.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive fiscal files and records for all transactions.
  • Produce timely and accurate financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA or CPA track preferred).
  • 5+ years of corporate accounting experience.
  • Advanced MS Excel and Office Suite knowledge.
  • Work well in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Accounting / ERP software (MS Dynamics Business Central is preferred).
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel (pivots, vlookups, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to multi-task.
  • Strong computer and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
  • Positive attitude with an ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
