Senior Accountant

Duties:
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial reporting, including:

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and financial reporting, including:
- Preparing and recording corporate journal entries (e.g., accruals, payroll).
- Analyzing and researching general ledger account activity.
- Preparing complex balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reconciling intercompany transactions, including P&L, assets, liabilities, and equity.
- Identify, implement, and monitor process improvements for efficiency.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support special projects as needed.
- Collaborate with the accounting team, RCM and other departments to coordinate closing activities.
- Support the annual audit process and annual tax filing process by preparing white papers and providing responses to external resources.
- Utilize analytical skills to provide actionable recommendations.
- Enhance systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with financial accounting objectives.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive fiscal files and records for all transactions.
- Produce timely and accurate financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA or CPA track preferred).
- 5+ years of corporate accounting experience.
- Advanced MS Excel and Office Suite knowledge.
- Work well in a dynamic environment under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Accounting / ERP software (MS Dynamics Business Central is preferred).
- Working knowledge of MS Excel (pivots, vlookups, etc.)
- Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to multi-task.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude with an ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
