**Experience:** 2 years combined experience in Telemetry and Step Down required
**License:** Valid CA State License required
**Certifications:**- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required + Booster- Flu Vaccine: Required- CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute (for ER nurses)- EPIC experience required
**Must-Have:**- First-time travelers are welcome- Required skills: IV start, ventilators, telemonitoring, phlebotomy- References: Two (2) Supervisor references required
**Job Description:**- Care for a patient population including surgical, transplants, some overflow medicine, neurology, oncology, trauma, cardiovascular, ENT, neurosurgical, hepatobiliary, GI surgery, and vent-dependent.- RN may float to comparable units.- Weekend requirement is every other weekend.- Request time off must be submitted at the application stage, with a maximum of 7 days off in a 13-week contract preferred, and none during the first two weeks.- Completion of modules required pre-start, with 12 hours of orientation.- Note: Local candidates accepted under the same conditions. Travelers must be able to work without additional interviews.
