Job Title: HVAC Service Team Dispatcher
Department: Service
Summary: The Service Team Dispatcher position dispatches the service technicians in response to customer calls for service. This is a non-exempt position and reports to the Service Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
Handle all incoming calls from customers in a prompt and courteous manner
Evaluate customer situation and match the appropriate service technician for the task based on technician skill
Processing the service call paperwork
Maintaining timely communication and responding to all customers
Maintaining direct communication with field personnel, maintain dispatch board
Issue purchase orders, completing required data entry
Closing out service call paperwork and verifying all charges and costs
Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude with both internal and external customers
Work in tandem with sales team and service manager in order to meet customer expectations
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required
2+ years hands on customer service experience
Proficient on MS Office Suite
Attention to Detail
Be able to multi-task
Excellent Organization
Ability to problem solve
Excellent oral and written communication
Customer service skills a must
Team Player
Flexible and reliable
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in dispatch role or construction industry
