Our PNC Administrative Assistants provide on-site related administrative, project, and event management for multiple functions at the Hill's Pet Nutrition Center located on our beautiful campus in Topeka, Kansas. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of the organization, the site and its policies and procedures. The PNC Site Administrative Assistants support the local and global nature of the PNC site business needs, anticipates the needs of employees, customers, and vendors, and drives site wide initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for a variety of duties associated with the activities of a busy research and development campus.

- Coordinate department meetings, programs, and projects to ensure they meet timing, cost and specific deliverables.

- Act as a key power user/ Google Guru for all systems and software used by functions in order to assist the department in leveraging technology to improve processes and projects.

Responsible for managing purchase orders; reconciling discrepancies with invoices and following up with external vendors as needed. The PNC Administrative Assistants serve as the subject matter expert and first point of contact for the Ariba purchasing and invoice processing system.

Coordination with hiring managers for onboarding new employees.

Required qualifications

Associate’s Degree

2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Previous Experiences in one or more Coordinator roles and/or Project Coordination roles

Project Management Skills including organization, planning and execution

2+ years of multi-building corporate office campus experience

Expected Areas of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Significant experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) OR Google Suite

Strong project management skills

Knowledge of SAP

Problem solving ability

Ability to perform data analyses

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $49,600 - $68,000 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
