About the Role:

As part of the Indirect Procurement team at Estée Lauder Companies, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving performance while building and protecting our brand’s reputation across our supply base. You will contribute to delivering exceptional end-to-end value through commercial leadership, fostering innovative supplier solutions, and advancing our sustainability agenda in collaboration with our partners and suppliers.

Job Purpose:

· To provide strategic direction and delivery of procurement activities and projects across Marketing category areas, including Creative Production. Leverage previous experience to identify and implement positively disruptive, agile procurement solutions that deliver measurable, incremental value. Use technology and data to enhance decision-making and reporting, ensuring auditable outcomes that you will present to the business. Collaborate closely with both local and global stakeholders to drive performance and unlock growth for Estée Lauder Companies.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Category Planning:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies and category plans for marketing and media services that align with Estée Lauder’s global business objectives. Lead sourcing initiatives that drive value, innovation, and continuous improvement across the region.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts, managers, finance, legal, and external consultants, to drive cost savings through global and regional sourcing events. Ensure full engagement across European markets and provide executive updates on progress and performance.

Contract Negotiation & Risk Mitigation:

Lead negotiations with key vendors and agencies, securing favourable commercial terms while safeguarding Estée Lauder’s brand reputation and mitigating risk. Ensure contract terms are mutually beneficial and comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Supplier Relationship & Performance Management:

Manage supplier relationships through key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs). Lead inprintitiatives for continuous supplier performance improvement, ensuring alignment with category strategies and overall business objectives.

Cash Flow & Payment Terms:

Negotiate payment terms to improve cash flow and enhance financial flexibility. Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, tracking, and budget control.

Spend Analysis & Efficiency:

Analyze category spend to ensure maximum value and efficiency. Provide actionable insights based on spending patterns and supplier performance and optimize procurement processes through data-driven decision-making.

·

Compliance & Governance:

Ensure full compliance with Estée Lauder’s procurement, risk management, and governance standards. Collaborate with finance, marketing, and legal teams to uphold regulatory and internal requirements in all procurement activities.

Procurement Transformation & Best Practices:

Support ongoing procurement transformation projects, driving operational efficiency and value creation. Act as an ambassador for procurement best practices, promoting excellence and professionalism across the Procurement function.

Continuous Improvement & Category Excellence:

Drive category excellence by executing improvement projects aligned with strategic goals. Apply best-in-class processes, including cost modelling, contract management, and supplier development, to achieve continuous improvement and value creation.

Commercial Foresight & Insight Generation:

Generate data-driven insights to challenge established practices and stimulate innovative thinking. Provide commercial foresight that influences decision-making and enhances the performance of the procurement function.

· Lead and collaborate from your seat to ensure that the key Procurement and UK regional business objectives are aligned and deliver according to the pre-set goals and live sourcing strategies.

· Independently develop the procurement business agenda across corporate facing spend activities, in line with the department and regions goals, to ensure that a proactive, collaborative stakeholder buy-in develops, and that your personal relationship/credibility is utilized to enable procurement to lead a positively disruptive, agile and effective business projects.

· Lead cross Brand/Function Supplier negotiations to ensure best overall cost position for the Organization for assigned commodities. Negotiate, develop and approve contracts, agreements, supplier direction and business awards.

· Maintain and provide a current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends to team members and business partners

· Develop and lead the strategy evolution to mitigate Supplier risks within the assigned area of responsibility

· Utilize the tools, and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier activities, and efficiencies. Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize and drive implementation

· Support sustainability efforts within assigned commodities

Qualifications

-Bachelor's Degree

3-5 Years Experience

·

Education:

An undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Procurement, Technology, Marketing, or Business Administration.

·

Experience:

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant Procurement experience, ideally in a corporate branded environment.

·

Procurement Expertise:

Demonstrated success in managing and leading multi-million-pound procurement activities, with a proven ability to independently plan, manage, and lead complex negotiations.

·

Category Knowledge:

A solid understanding of the creative production category, or experience within the Marketing category (e.g., Paid Media, Influencers, etc.), would be highly advantageous.

·

Change Management:

Basic experience in managing change processes within procurement operations.

·

Interpersonal & Negotiation Skills:

A high level of interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster strong, lasting partnerships both internally with key stakeholders and externally with suppliers.

·

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data effectively from various sources to solve complex problems.

·

Communication:

Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear and effective presentations. Demonstrates diplomacy, active listening, and excellent relationship-building skills. Experience of working in cross geographical teams.

·

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential. Experience with SAP/SRM, SAP/Ariba, and a basic understanding of the P2P process would be an advantage.

Ownership & Collaboration:

Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability while being a collaborative team player.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,150 - $109,200. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
