Manage payroll processes, ensuring a seamless link between HR and accounting. This role requires a deep understanding of both HR and accounting aspects of payroll.
Responsibilities
Perform monthly close activities, including reconciliations and flux analysis.
Prepare monthly close summaries.
Support the new spinoff company.
Essential Skills
Payroll processing
General ledger
GAAP accounting
Payroll accounting
Oracle ERP
Strong HR and accounting knowledge
Familiarity with 401K and related benefits
Solid grounding in accounting principles: US GAAP, debits/credits
Month-end payroll accounting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Ceridian Payroll (highly preferred)
Knowledge of Workday or similar systems (beneficial)
Understanding integrations in large companies
Knowledge of SAP for future state (a plus)
Experience with large public companies (5,000+ employees) preferred
Work Environment
Hybrid work environment, with 2-3 days onsite. The primary payroll scale is for CA employees with minimal out-of-state employees.
