Responsibilities
Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency enhancementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectivesCreate detailed and effective project documentation, which may include user stories, use cases, flowcharts, requirements specificationsMaintain project documentation throughout project lifecycle, continually keeping the backlog updated and accurateMonitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, identifying areas for further optimization and continuous improvementRequirements
Ability to create compelling business cases as a by-product of highly effective interview sessionsUnderstanding of business complexity and project interdependenciesOutstanding written and communication skillsAbility to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work productsCollaborating with data engineers and AI experts to identify course of resolutionWillingness to work in a hybrid work environment; work in our Indianapolis office or at the client location three days per weekMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust not require visa sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications
5+ years in business analysis, product ownership, or related position3+ years in defining functional and technical requirements for web/mobile/e-commerce applicationsProven experience as a Business Analyst for consulting projects exceeding $500,000 and more than 6 months in durationBachelor's degree in management information systems or another relevant programClient-facing consulting experienceExperience with Agile/Scrum Methodologies and tools (e.g. JIRA) is desirableRelevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus
